  1. You know, I love this book, too. Of course, I wrote it! :-) Thanks, Brad, for an OUTSTANDING review and for seeing the value of common sense, practical content. I’m honored!

    • It truly is a great book sir, and it was my pleasure to share it with my readers. One question: Is it out in audio book format yet? haha! I replaced music with knowledge some time ago and I absolutely love being in the car listening to things that are going to make me a better person. My wife picks on me about my habit and addiction, but hey, it could be crack I am addicted to right?

I had an interesting experience recently with Discover Card Customer Service. I was making an online purchase when my card was denied. I called Discover, and they said that for some reason, my account had been closed (there was a glitch in their system that caused all accounts opened during a specific month to be closed). The representative were very apologetic and stayed on the phone with me until I could confirm that my purchase was accepted.

Two weeks later, I received a call from Discover saying that they were sorry for the incident and were going to send me a $20 gift card as a token of appreciation. I didn’t expect it, nor did I think it was a big deal. But it was a very nice gesture and one that motivates me to continue using my Discover card as my primary credit card.

Loved QBQ. This looks great too. I am an rss subscriber

    • Thank you Gretchen, thanks for being a subscriber! I appreciate it very much! QBQ completely changed how I view my life and my actions. That’s the magic of it. All it takes is a little personal accountability to make a bad situation better!
