I Love You Like a Blogger Roundup – 06/21

There’s an eerie calmness with my finances right now.   Things are going reasonably well, we have no big expenses coming up, and nothing exciting has occurred in awhile.   I’m not exactly sure how to feel about it, but I’m trying to convince myself to just relax and enjoy the summer.  I’m going to give it a shot, but I’ve always got one eye on the lookout for something brewing on the horizon…..

Alright, EOD nation, let’s get this Friday rollin’ with some fist pumps:

  1. Thanks so much for the mentions and for your great posts on my site!

  2. Thanks Travis! I loved your story about how you’re telling your kids to “charge it!” I’m really curious to see what happens … will they refrain from charging it? Or will they indulge in snacks and get shocked by the bill? (If so, it’s better that it happens once or twice when they’re young — that’s what teaching is all about!)

It will be interesting to see if their behavior changes as the summer progresses, to Paula….our first bill is coming soon! I think it may even be worth a followup post in a few months – thanks for stopping by!

  4. Great reads! Hope you enjoy the weekend.

You’re welcome John, your article made me think back to my views about money when I was young…although it’s hard to remember that far back these days…LOL.
