I’m a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. This year’s team is doing really well for a lot of reasons, but one player that has a special place in my heart is that of Adam Thielen. One of my personal guilty pleasures is finding ways to relax. I go all out, 100%, a million miles an hour most of the time, so when I need some downtime I need it bad. I do it whenever I return something to a store, and this situation was no different. The cashier requested I sign a slip of paper to authorize the return of funds to my debit card, which I did without even giving half a glance to the return receipt. My daughter injured her wrist last Friday spotting a cheer team stunt at a high school basketball game.  She complained it hurt a little, but we figured she just sprained it.   Unfortunately,  it didn’t feel any better after a few days, so we took her to the doctor.  Xrays showed a slight fracture, so now she has a splint on it for a week or so to help it heal.  She is NOT a happy camper.  I suspect I won’t be a happy camper when I see the bill for it.  The good news is, my health savings account is […] Read more »

Pharmacy Mistakes Can Cost You!

Medical care is expensive enough, I don’t need mistakes increasing the cost even more. However, that exact scenario almost happened picking up a prescription for my son last week. Had I not noticed it, not only would have cost me money, but it could have compromised my son’s care. I walked out of the pharmacy with a small bag holding a refill of my son’s prescription.
