Jeff is one of my favorite bloggers. I love his passion and desire to get his family out of debt, even if it means he has to sacrifice himself in the process. This is the act of a selfless father and loving husband. An act that comes from wanting to make the family stronger. Becoming debt free is all about your family!
This is why I wanted to write Jeff from Deliver Away Debt into the awesome PF Comics series put together by Fred & Jeremy over at Credit Card Daily. This comic also features and/or draws inspiration from The Dave Ramsey Show, Brad Tuttle from TIME, and JD Roth from Get Rich Slowly.
I used to deliver pizza as a main source of income, and the money I made from doing it was GREAT! It was also instrumental in eliminating our debt as quickly as we did.
Jeff has a main job working at GM, and delivers pizza as a way to steamroll the debt elimination process. His family is going to be in such a great position in life when it’s all said and done. You’re doing great Jeff, keep up the good work man, and continue to inspire others.
You’re the kind of man that should be looked up to in our society—instead of some self-absorbed athlete. That’s my humble opinion dude! Keep rocking it for the family. ๐
Editor’s Note: Enemy of Debt was in no way, shape, or form, paid or compensated for this stellar review. ๐ These words reflect sincere admiration for a guy that loves his family, from one passionate blogger to another!
Now go check out Jeff in the new PF Comic #6: Taking Extra Jobs.
Dude, I love your writing. You make things sound cool!
Big ups to your script dude, its amazing.
Fred
Thanks Fred!! LOL
(sorry you ended up in my spam comments too. Hopefully it\’s fixed now.)
Let\’s rock out some more bro!! ๐
Thank you for the VERY kind words. It means alot coming from someone I look up to. I mean you are a few months older than me ๐
ps you can tell everyone that the check bounced and that’s why you aren’t compinsated for the post, haha
It was a great storyline, and my co-workers think I’m famous now.
Dude, you are the man! I absolutely love what you\’re doing with the blog, but especially how you are so determined to eliminate your debt! I didn\’t realize we were so close in age. What month is your B-Day in 75?
Haha on the check bouncing! Did you like how in the comic, at the end of each delivery you insert your money into the D.E.B.T (Debt Eliminator Banking Terminal)? Haha!
That is so cool! I had no idea there were PF comics ๐
Thanks
Sorry you keep getting hijacked by my spam folder!
Now ya do! I think it\’s pretty cool to be a part of it! ๐
That is such a cool comic, although I am not too sure about about the uniform lol
LOL, yeah it may takes some getting used to, but look at what Superman wore. Haha!
This will become a book, yes? Graphic novel? They’re all the rage now; it’s all my teenager wants to read! Seems like just about every topic is covered now in that style- but is this a first for the PF topic? Jeff was the first (eventual) Yakezie member to find my own blog; I have a special place in my heart for him. ๐ He is so inspiring as a man doing right by his family and by his principles, through good old fashioned hard work and perseverance. He should be proud of himself and I’m so glad he has friends like you to spotlight his achievements!
Graphic novel? Hmmm. You never know the possibilities! ๐
Jeff is one of my favorite people in the blog world, and I was glad to give him props! ๐
Hi – I am Jeff’s mom and just read the article and he showed me the comic. Just wanted to say how proud I am of Jeff and how he is committed to his family and has learned so much about personal money management.
Hi Mrs Spencer! It\’s a pleasure to have you stop by and leave a comment. You did a wonderful job raising your son and I am so glad to have met Jeff through blogging. I hope that one day in the future I would have the opportunity to meet the both of you in person! Jeff is an inspiration to many! ๐
How many people have their Mom’s comment about a post they are featured it? Haha Thanks Mom. I hope you are getting ready for Trick or Treating Brad, have a great time tonight.
Jeff
Not many my friend but your Mom has something to be proud of. It was awesome that she took the time to share her thoughts! ๐
