Welcome to a special Saturday edition of Fist Pump Friday! Alright, so I admit that the Thanksgiving holiday threw my schedule for for a loop and thus I’m a day late with my usual fist pumping.
I also have a confession to make: I went shopping on Black Friday. Not the crazy, stand in line for hours to buy a low quality, cheap TV kind of shopping. There were a handful of things that we found in the ads that were good deals that we wanted so Vonnie and I went around to a small number of stores looking for specific items close to noon. We bought a movie my daughter wants at half price, some shirts for my son that were almost 75% off, and you’ll never guess what my favorite item was.
Costco had Pork Loins for $10 off. The price varied since they’re priced by weight, but they generally cost between $12 and $16. We bought two, one costing $2.36 ($12.36 – $10 discount) and the other $2.64 ($12.64 – $10).
We walked out of Costco with over 13 pounds of pork loin for exactly $5.
If that doesn’t warrant a fist pump, I have no freaking clue what would.

Hope you and the family had a great Thanksgiving! That’s one of the Black Friday tips I have heard, save big on everyday items. Nicely done.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving as well, Brian! I separated the pork loin into separate packages each about 2 pounds a piece, vacuum sealed them and threw them in the freezer!
OMG, wish I had known about the Costco deal. I love the pork loin but I usually don’t buy it because it is kind of expensive.
I wish I would have gone back and got more!
