I Love You Like A Blogger Roundup – 12/27

Well, it’s finally arrived.  Tomorrow is my birthday.

My 40th birthday.

The 40th birthday is traditionally when a person gets all that “over the hill” bullshit.  The thing is, I don’t feel old.  I’m in great physical shape, I like to have my fun, AND we’re just over two months away from being done with our debt management program.  My 40th year on earth will be a new beginning, a new chapter of my life free from the shackles of debt and poor spending habits.

For me, life really does begin at 40.

Now, let’s get down to business.  Get those fists ready….but give me a minute to stretch out.  I don’t wanna pull anything – I am almost 40 you know.  🙂

  1. Thanks for the mention, Travis, and happy, happy birthday!!! At 46, I can tell you that if you continue to do it right, things will only get better (although the big 5-0 freaks me out a little. 🙂 ) Have a great day tomorrow!

  2. Thanks much for the fist pump Travis. And best wishes for a prosperous 40th year!

  3. Welcome to the club and Happy Birthday!!! You’re going to rock the 40’s!

  4. Happy Birthday Travis (one day early)!

  5. Travis,

I am 5 years behind you, at 35..
But oddly have the exact same current weight and goal weight.

How about we both show up at Fincon next year at 185 lbs?

    Sounds good to me,
    Jefferson

  6. I know a couple other people with your birthday, so happy 40th birthday to you! You are in some good company with the others I know. Thanks for including my post in your round up. Hopefully it shed some light on Christmas lights 🙂

  7. 40 is only old when you shovel snow and visit your doctor for regular checkups. Stay close to your young daughter and you’ll feel 30 again. I have a daughter becoming a teenager soon. I don’t feel my age, neither should you.

Here’s to another great year Bro!

LOL, Steve….I definitely don’t feel my age (yet). I try not to get too hung up on the number. Great advice about staying close to my daughter…..it does help me feel younger – but at other times, not so much. 🙂 2014 is going to be a great year!

  8. I totally missed it, so happy belated birthday Travis! 40 is the new 20 🙂
