I Love You Like a Blogger Roundup – 9/06

Today is the last day of my work furlough, which means tomorrow I can officially sign into my email for work and begin the process of wading through an entire week’s email.ย  I’m looking forward to jumping back into the software development game – I’ve missed my bits and bytes.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚ Vonnie and I have been watching our spending closely to make sure our finances are ready when that reduced paycheck arrives a week from today.ย  You can read about how we’ve planned to make it through this rough spot in my post this week in the CareOne Community. Have you ever been furloughed from your job?ย  How did you prepare for it?

Thanks for the mention! I never was furloughed before. It sounds stressful, so you have my very best wishes to deal with the income drop while it’s instated.

    • Travis says:

Thanks Crystal – I think we’re passed the stressful part now as I believe we’re well prepared. It was the initial shock and questions of how we were going to absorb the income loss that was the worst part! Thanks for stopping by!

  3. hey Travis! So nice of you to share my post over at BITFS. It was fun to write for Crystal. Have a great weekend, and have a great time back at work!

I’ve been a big fan of BITFS for a long time, and it was great to see you pop up over there, Tony! Great weekend is in the bag, and now back to work – looking forward to it!

  4. Thanks for the mention, Travis! Happy to earn a privileged fist pump from you! Have a great weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

You’re welcome, Shannon! Having two kids it’s always interesting to read other’s perspectives on how to introduce them to the world of finance!
