It’s March Madness time!  Yeah, I’m not much of a college basketball fan.  I know the Minnesota Gophers made the tournament, so I might briefly be interested in seeing how they do.  If you’re not interested in basketball, you could always checkout my favorite posts from the week,  or just read them during halftime. I Love You Like a Blogger Roundup – 11/1

Ooooooooh, no!  I think I’m fighting something off.  I’ve been going to bed early all week and getting some extra sleep but I just don’t have the usual spring in my step.  In fact last night I grabbed a pillow and blanket and curled up in a ball on the floor while the family caught up on a few episodes of Survivor.  I have still managed to drag myself out of bed every morning and get my workouts in.  I hate being sick, so I hope a weekend of R&R will get be back 100% in action. Well, I hope […] Read more »

I Love You Like a Blogger Roundup – I’m Going To India Edition

I’m heading to Hyderabad, India for the next two weeks for work. To get there I’ll have the privilege of experiencing 28 hours of total travel time across three flights, so I’m going to have plenty of time on my hands that need to be occupied with some sort of activity. Here’s a list of awesome blog posts that I’d totally read during that time if I hadn’t already read them. Whether your stuck on an airplane for hours on end, or sitting in the comfort of your own home snugged up on the couch with your laptop, these posts […] Read more »

Week In Review: Best Of My RSS Feed Edition

These articles are some of my favorites from blogs I follow via RSS Feed.  I really could have added another five articles but didn’t want to cause a brain overload.  After all it is Friday!  Enjoy, and have a wonderful weekend! Oh yeah, you’ll notice I finally was able to “left-align” my sidebars and comments section.  You’ll also notice that it caused my navigation bar to left align.  Ugh! Web Design will likely be my next class in the cross hairs. Money Help For Christians presents Debt: Upside Down And Backwards. You can find a guest post over at Debt […] Read more »

Week In Review: Frugality Edition

My Top Two Frugality Posts Of The Week I like Living Off The Grid from Frugal Dad.  Here he talks about how the accumulation of stuff has caused us to become slaves to our own lifestyle. Shawanda Greene from You Have More Than You Think wrote The Case For Frugality and I must say, she did an excellent job of making the case.  The title alone grabbed my attention because it reminded me of one of my favorite authors.  She makes the point that if you live a frugal life, you will have more time and money to spend doing […] Read more »
