We made our final payment to our debt management program back in January. We wanted to have a party to celebrate, but we also wanted to save up the money to pay for it with cash. We decided to take the time to save up some funds, and combine our celebration for completing our program with our annual Memorial Weekend Luau. This will be our 18th consecutive year of having the party and we’re looking to kick it up a notch this year. We have the funds and we have a reason to celebrate. It’s gonna be a great time. This weekend we’ll be in full party preparation mode cleaning and starting to put up some decorations. I can’t wait to show you details. 🙂

You’re really tempting me to make the drive down for your party. I keep seeing pics on Facebook about all the prep you guys are doing for it. Looks like it’s going to be a great time and your’e right, you guys do have something awesome to celebrate!
You and Mrs. DC should drive down (I assume you saw that I invited you via Facebook)! It’s always a good time, AND I get to fire up my smoker. 🙂
Yep saw it on Facebook and ran it by my wife – just have to look into our schedule and whatnot. I really appreciate the invite!
Good for you guys for having a big ol’ party to celebrate – you deserve it. 🙂 Thanks so much for the mention, Travis, and have an awesome weekend!
I can’t wait to share pictures and details of the party, Laurie…keep checking back!
I agree with DC, those pics you’ve posted on FB are definitely tempting! That said, it sounds like you have a fun weekend planned and deservedly so! 🙂
You haven’t seen anything yet, John….wait until I fire up the smoker and start posting THOSE pictures!
You have reason to celebrate! Have a great weekend!
