We had a blizzard in Southeastern Minnesota this week but it didn’t seem as bad as they said it was going to be. We did get about 7 inches of snow so at least we’ll have a white Christmas! It is still pretty cold and windy outside, so I think most of my weekend will be spent indoors. If you’re in the same boat, here’s some awesome reading to keep you occupied!

I didn’t make a brisket last weekend….but I’m making one this weekend (I just bought it!) for a family Christmas gathering. So I guess I’ll at least be going outside to check on my smoker. 🙂
This is the only time of year when “cold and windy” is actually a good thing! Grab a good book, a mug of cocoa, and curl up near the Christmas tree! No white Christmas for us here, so you guys enjoy it for us 🙂
Thanks for the mention, and Merry Christmas!
That sounds very relaxing, Joanna – I just might do that. 🙂 But first I have to curl up next to the fireplace and watch Football. Hahaha – Merry Christmas to you too!
Great list of roundup for this weekend. Thanks for sharing! Have the most of your white Christmas.
Thanks Cherleen! We had a great family get together over the weekend, and now looking forward to the “main event” with just Vonnie and the kids. Enjoy your Christmas as well!
Thanks for the link love 🙂
You are so very welcome, Michelle – Looking forward to see the awesome posts you come up with for 2013. 🙂
