Last Thursday I registered for the Twin Cities 10 Mile run. Last year I ran the Twin Cities Marathon (which is run on the same day), but I just didn’t have it in me to marathon train this time around. The 10 mile run is a perfect because it’s still long enough that I have to do some serious training, but doesn’t put nearly as much strain on the body. Registration for this race is a lottery and I was very happy to find out on Tuesday that I was selected to be one of the participants! I workout almost every day, so I’m in great shape, but it’s time to kick my training into high gear.
Speaking of high gear, let’s see some links that are sure to help you put you into high gear. Check ’em out and give them some comment love!

Have a great weekend, EOD nation!
Thanks for including me in your roundup Travis. I am glad my post made your fist pump. I hope you have a good weekend and good luck with the training.
Thanks for the encouragement, Grayson….I’m sure I’ll be writing more about it! 🙂
Great round-up! Enjoyed the articles.
Glad you enjoyed them Pat, thanks for stopping by!
Travis, thanks for mentioning my credit score piece.
I didn’t realize you lived in Minnesota. I lived in Minneapolis 1991-1996 and Roseville 1996-2009. Though we love where we live now (Vancouver Island), I do miss the Minnesota culture. But not snow shoveling! 🙂
Awesome, Kurt – good to know you’re a former Minnesotan! I live in Rochester, but have inlaws that live all over the metro area. If you ever come back for a visit, hit me up and we can meet up for lunch or something!
Nice roundup as usual Travis. I especially like the last one.
Thanks Zimmy! I’ve been reading Nicole’s blog for quite awhile – she’s awesome. Hope you have a great weekend!
Good luck in training for your 10 mile! I’m currently looking into doing a triathlon, which would be fun too.
Also, great roundup, like always!
Thanks Cassi! If you do signup for a triathlon, let me know how it goes!
Thanks for posting the roundup Travis. You usually catch some good ones that I have missed.
You’re welcome, Zimmy! I enjoy sharing the awesome posts I read each week and I’m glad that I’m able to deliver some new ones to you. Please keep reading!
