I had a hard time saving when I was in my early 20s mostly because I felt I could afford to spend because I had a credit card. Fortunately I didn’t dig myself into a giant hole of debt so once I started paying attention to personal finance my savings started to build up. I really don’t enjoy buying things anymore as a splurge to me is being able to travel and see new places. -Sydney
Right on Sydney! I like your style! Traveling and seeing new places is TONS BETTER than getting a quick spending fix. I used to waste so much money on nonsense. I still like to buy things and still enjoy playing video games but I just cannot see spending the insane amount I used to spend on something that keeps me on the couch. LOL We’re going to Hawaii for 13 weeks at the end of summer and it’s going to be SWEET! 😀
