My wife and I are hosting Thanksgiving at our home next week, so this weekend is all about prep work. A local grocery store is having it’s traditional “buy a ham get a free turkey” sale. I’m all about taking advantage of that deal. Additionally, I’m firing up my smoker and making a brisket. Are you making a Thanksgiving meal this year? How do you keep the cost down?

Enjoy Thanksgiving Travis and family! We are hosting too, lots of prep work to be done this weekend. Thanks for sharing Laurie’s guest post.
Well, we are not hosting or cooking, but we will be spending about $100 at a restaurant in order to join 10 of our other relatives to celebrate Thanksgiving. So, not very frugal, but it only happens once a year, and we can’t wait to see everyone–some of these people we only see once a year and this is it.
Best wishes to you and yours this Holiday Season!
