I Love You Like a Blogger Roundup – 9/5

Yesterday’s high in Rochester, MN was close to 90.  Today it will struggle to get our of the 60’s.  Guess what peoples,  Fall is officially on it’s way.  While I LOVE summer, Fall’s cooler temperatures and lowered humidity makes for great running weather.  There’s also the start of the NFL season (first game kicked off last night!) to soften the transition away from summer.

Along with those cooler temperatures comes the turning off of the AC, the opening of windows, and MUCH lower utility bills.   My electric bill literally gets cut in half for the next couple of months, and that makes me wanna FIST PUMP!

I love Summer, but Fall is so much better! I just wish we had a beach-I think I would appreciate Summer more if we did. Thanks for the list of reads, will check them out.

I don’t know if I would call Fall better, Michelle…just different. 🙂 That’s what I love about the Midwest, our seasons are very different. After the hot summer, we get a cooler fall (although this summer was not that hot – so I’m not ready to say goodbye!). BUT, I am ready for football!!! Great to hear from you!

  2. I miss midwest Falls! Everything just kind of stays the same around here, save maybe for some at least cooler nights making it easier to sleep. #noairconditioning Have a great weekend!

I was in Tucson a few years ago for work…every day was 100 and sunny. I actually got depressed because there just wasn’t any variation at all – not even a cloud – for days. I do love my AC though….. 🙂

  3. Enjoy the cool weather. Thanks for the link love!

  4. Omg, I love fall too! Hoodies, campfires, homemade soups.

Winter blows though. I would rather skip right over that. Thanks so much for the mention! Fist pump right back at ya!!!

YEAH, FISTPUMP! I’m a fan of campfires myself, but my favorite is CHILI! Oh, football, chili and a snowstorm outside – can’t get more comfy than that!

  5. Bring on fall and football! Thanks for the mention! Enjoy the weekend!

Loved the first weekend of football, and enjoying the Monday night double header tonight – love neighborhood get togethers during the season! Thanks for stopping by!

  6. I think just about everyone is fist pumping for fall weather =). That’s a huge temperature drop though! I can’t wait for low 80s, let alone 60s, but it’s still reaching 90 here. Thanks for the mention!

  7. Travis says:

We didn’t hit 90 once this summer…not ONCE! I feel ripped off, because even in Minnesota we usually hit 90 and even 100 a handful of times this summer. But then again after last year’s BRUTAL winter, I think we’re still dethawing! 🙂
