I Love You Like A Blogger Roundup – 12/4

fistpumpWith Thanksgiving now in the rear view mirror, it’s time to dive into Christmas hook, line, and sinker.   The holiday spirit hasn’t quite got a hold of me yet, but we have our neighborhood Christmas party tonight….so maybe that will kick the “Bah, humbug” right out of me.  I do know that it’s time to seriously evaluate our Christmas budget.  We’ve got presents to buy and not a lot of time.  In a perfect world, I’d just sit in front of my computer and order everything online, then just wait for the packages to be delivered to my door.

Fist pump for online shopping….who’s with me?

  1. Online shopping is the way to go! Free shipping anyone? Enjoy the party and your weekend Travis!

Definite fist pump for online shopping. Although I have to admit I miss the mall. I am a ‘mall rat’, if that’s possible when you are a Mamaw. I will buy a soda and a cookie, and walk around all afternoon, just window shopping. But with kids, spouses, grandkids, and a gift exchange, it is just too easy to get everything at one time.

Rambling for a moment here, but I have an issue with Amazon, when I use my debit card. If I place one order for several items, it gives me the total for the order – which I put in my register. But Amazon doesn’t actually charge your account until the item ships. It gets a bit messy tracking everything, because the numbers don’t match up. If I have a $100 order, but I have charges come in for $35 one day and $65 the next, it can make it tricky.

Anyway, if you know a way around that, I’d appreciate it.

Thanks so much for all you do. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

It’s been awhile since I bought multiple things in the same order from Amazon….but yeah that would make for a bit of an inconvenience when looking for the charges to come in. I wish I had an answer for you!

Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!

  3. Thanks so much for the double-mention, Travis!!! We did a bit of in-store shopping, but most of our shopping will be done online. Double-bonus for online shopping when you live in the boonies. 🙂

Oh man, am I behind on my comments…..I did probably 80% of the shopping just sitting in front of the computer with my kids’ lists. it. Was. Awesome! 🙂 I didn’t even notice it was a double mention for you….you deserve it! 🙂

  4. Thanks for the link love, Travis! I’m with you on shopping online. I enjoy giving gifts but dealing with all the crowds at Christmas isn’t much fun. It’s not always possible to do all my shopping online, but what I can do – I definitely do!
