Greetings from Bloomington, Illinois! My family and I are at the end of our first day of driving down to Florida (from Minnesota) for a family Spring Break Vacation. It’s our first vacation since we exited our DMP. Sounds like a blog post in the making, huh?
I’m sitting at the desk in our hotel room, it’s almost midnight, and the rest of my family is sleeping. But I had to dig into all my favorite blogs and get my fist pumps ready for ya’ all. That’s the kind of love I have for the EOD nation.

Hope you enjoy your vacation, Travis! When I was growing up we took two road-trips to Florida from Minnesota. It’s quite the drive but looking back it was really fun to see so much of the country in one trip.
We’re having a blast on the trip so far, DC, and we haven’t even arrived in Florida! We’ve added a few new states to our list of states visited, and had some wild experiences, including having a large bird fly right in front of us…..unfortunately meeting it’s end after meeting our windshield!
Haha wow that must have been quite the shocking experience! Looks like you made it to Florida – very jealous as rain is supposed to turn to snow tonight up here, yet again!
